How To Get Any Mlm Prospect Interested In Your Offer

What do prospects consider to be most important when making a decision to join a company? Is it company image? Company management experience, perhaps? A company's product line, literature, history and heritage? How about potential earnings?

MLM industry legend Tom "Big Al" Schreiter, who comes face-to-face with thousands of people every year through the generic MLM training tours he does all over the world, discovered none of the above were of significant concern to prospects.

What he discovered were the top three things that influenced a prospects decision to signup, by a land slide, had NOTHING to do with the company providing the opportunity or the products. They were the following...

1. Who gave the presentation
2. Upline support
3. Training provided

There you have it. The top three things that influenced a prospect's decision to join a business opportunity are all about YOU. They didn't care about the money, they didn't care about the products and they didn't care about the company.

People join people, not companies or products. Therefore, if you want to get in contact with the most qualified prospects, you should first and foremost brand yourself.

In the "attraction marketing" circle, they talk about branding "yourself" a lot. More on that a little later...

Today we are definitely living in an over communicated society. People have seen it all before. Every day, they're being bombarded with advertising for products that promise so much, but deliver little. They're immunised against hype and promotion. They don't want to hear another sales pitch. They just want to be left alone.

So peddling another opportunity or another product isn't going to cause many people to open up to you, is it?

I once heard Perry Marshall, a brilliant direct marketer who had his beginnings as a network marketer, say that in the '80s, people were cocooning themselves from over-communication. Today, people are building 10m tall walls around themselves to be protected against the onslaught of unwanted communication.

But people are looking for leaders who can help them have the success that they so badly want. And that's why it's so important that they open up and invite you in as a welcomed guest, because they see you as a shining beacon, not as another peddling sales person.

When you brand yourself properly, there is no need to fear the competition, because there isn't any. There's only one of YOU in the entire world. You have a unique personality, a unique perspective and a unique style that you can put out there as a "brand." That's not a luxury you have when you're promoting the same product as a million other people.

So what does it mean to brand yourself?

Is it promoting a capture page with a photo of you on it saying "I'll show you how to make $9,857.56 next month if you give me your name and email (so that I can bombard your inbox with my affiliate lead generation system)" ? No, that's not what self branding is about at all, but that's what a lot of people in the "attraction marketing" circles are doing at the moment. They will learn the hard way.

Branding yourself is about you addressing your prospects deepest concerns. It's about you putting out your sincerity in the form of content that will help your ideal prospect. It's about you saying to them...
D
"It's okay. I feel your struggles, your pain. You don't have to turn into a head strong jackass like they tell you to make money in network marketing. You are perfect the way you are. You can do this. I am here to help you."

When you frequently put out messages like this in videos, blog posts, forum discussions, or any other medium in this universe, without ANY agenda, you can't help but attract good people to you. How do you do that? Take the time to study the people who you want to attract. Find out what's hurting them the most, then show them how you can help alleviate their pain.
